Очевидно в профессиональном художественном образовании роль музыкальных инструментов является априори достаточно значимой. Подготовка профессиональных вокалистов, певцов хора, композиторов, музыкологов, преподавателей теоретических дисциплин и других музыкантовпрофессионалов обязательно предполагает овладение музыкальными инструментами, частности – фортепиано. Другое дело-процесс общего художественного образования, который охватывает большое количество детей, подростков юношества. В этой сфере функция музыкального инструментария уже не такой очевидной. Во все времена наиболее массовой доступной формой музыкальной активности учреждениях массового образования у всех народов было хоровое пение. Согласно этому, господствующее положение музыкально-образовательном процессе с давних времен заняли жанры стили вокально-хоровой музыки (гимны, молитвы, лирические, танцевальные строевые песни, баллады тому подобное). По причине элементарные музыкально-теоретические исторические знания, также сориентированные на кантиленную мелодику, хоровой слог, песенную интонационную природу. то же время музыкальная культура никогда ограничивалась вокальными формами музицирования. С древних времен, как доказано археологией культурологическими исследованиями, люди мастерили широко использовали художественной практике музыкальные инструменты.
